The successful candidate will be available to serve as a Recess monitor, 4 hours per day, providing student supervision in elementary recess time.  The candidate will take classes/groups to recess and supervise their play time/physical activity.  This is an hourly position with no additional benefits.  This position reports to the Principal

Responsibilities:  Safety and Oversight of children at play. The candidate will meet groups of students (picking them up from their classroom location) and take them to play areas (ie. playground, gymnasium, cafe, etc).  At the conclusion of Recess, Monitors will return all students to their teacher/classroom.  Supervision of student safety is a priority.   Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:  High School Graduate, able to read and follow directions.  Must be in general good health, able to stand for long periods of time (4 hours), and be able to lift 10lbs. frequently and 30lbs. occasionally.  

Note:  This is a 180 day contract, 4 hours daily with NO benefits.  Performance evaluations are conducted by the Principal
