The Nutritional Services Department of Page County Public Schools is seeking a detail-oriented and flexible Substitute Specialist at Central Office to provide support on an as-needed basis. This hourly role involves assisting with various departmental operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and menu planning. Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and department payroll accurately and on time.
- Assist with menu planning to meet state and federal nutritional guidelines.
- Provide clerical and operational support to maintain seamless department operations.
- Step in during staff absences to ensure continuity in scheduling, communication, and other essential tasks.
- Adapt quickly to new computer programs and systems to support operational needs.
Qualifications:
- Degree in culinary or nutrition or equivalent comparable experience.
- Experience with financial processes such as payroll and accounting (preferred).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and ability to learn new software applications.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of nutritional guidelines and regulations (preferred).
Terms of Employment:
- This is an hourly, as-needed position with no guarantee of hours. Pay is $16.50/hour.
